Before I ventured into travel blogging, I was a fashion and lifestyle blogger. I mostly did it for myself, but because I live in a small town, my blog gained traction and I later found myself being invited to events.

Because I believed that I had "made it" and that this was the "glamorous blogging life" everyone was talking about (it was the boom of the blogging era back then), I said yes to all (okay, most, cause I had "standards") opportunities and invites, even though they weren't fit for my niche, if only to have content to post and freebies (or money) out of it.

Malaysia was our second stop for the five country trip around Southeast Asia. We only did a day trip because we used Malaysia as a transit point to go to Cambodia. As I mentioned in my How to Score Cheap Fares post, we flew with AirAsia and were able to get the cheapest tickets we could to Cambodia because Malaysia is one of AirAsia's major hubs.

Welcome to the first leg of our ASEAN Trip! In the previous post, I delved in how we were able to ride planes the whole length of the trip, while keeping costs down. Now I'll get right into the trip!

Our first leg of the trip was Singapore. We technically spent 3 nights and 2 days there, because we arrived at night. Let me tell you, 2 days isn't enough! Those that have been to Singapore will agree with me.

Hi all! I've been getting inquiries about this MEGA trip my friends and I came from a few days ago. We traveled to 5 countries in 12 days, namely Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam, all by plane, and all we spent was Php 12,500 for the fares.
